Welcome to the Napa Valley Wine Technical Group
Our Mission:
Founded in 1947, the focus of the Napa Valley Wine Technical Group is to nurture and support the Napa Valley winemaking community through the exchange of experiences, philosophy, technological advances, and the latest available research.
Our Meetings:
Each year, we host monthly meetings from January through July, as well as a members-only business meeting in December. While the majority of our meetings take place at Brindare in St. Helena, we occasionally get out of the classroom to visit wineries within our community or industry-related businesses. Meetings typically begin with a short welcome reception at 5:30pm, transition to a ~1 hour presentation with Q & A, and conclude in a dinner featuring wines contributed by membership. Currently, our group includes ~120 members across various levels of Napa Valley winemaking, and we look forward to welcoming new members for years to come!
